Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 2025. This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies.

What We Use

We use cookies and, where applicable, local storage (e.g. in your browser) to provide the Service, keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the product is used.

Types of Cookies and Storage

Strictly necessary

These are required for the Service to function. They include session and authentication cookies (e.g. Better-Auth session tokens) so you stay logged in, and security-related cookies. You cannot turn these off and still use the product.

Preferences

We store your theme preference (light/dark mode) so it persists across visits. This may be stored in local storage or a cookie depending on implementation. Sidebar or UI state may also be stored locally (e.g. sidebar open/closed).

Analytics and product improvement

We use PostHog for product analytics and feature flags. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage to distinguish users, measure usage, and run experiments. See PostHog's privacy policy for details.

Duration

Authentication cookies keep you signed in for up to 30 days. If you use the product during that period, the expiration is extended. UI preference cookies and local storage may remain for a set period (e.g. 7 days for theme and sidebar state) until you clear them or they expire.

How to Control Cookies

You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Service. For analytics, you may be able to opt out via PostHog or our in-product settings if we offer them. Clearing local storage will reset preferences such as theme.
